My triumphal (or at least monumphal) return to three-word Wednesday begins with the words heave, ponder, and valid. So here's a limerick for you:

Tammy-Jo hopes that I'll validate

The bad cooking she plopped on my plate.

I try to use tact --

Ponder first and then act . . .

But then heave it all up on my date.
